Lil Kris; born May 23 is an intercontinental singer. Kris is recognized for his genre-drill (Love) musicianship and influence in modern-day popular music. He was discovered by Gh-American record Cauntry Boyz and signed by Recordz in 2023. 

Lil Kris also known as Christopher Adabor Twum was born on May 23, 1997, at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Ghana, Kumasi. He is the son of Augustin Amankwaah and Ernestina Oforiwaa, Enerstina's mother Elizabeth Ofosuah helped her raise her son. Kris has maintained contact with his father. Kris's ancestry includes Ghanaian-American, Ghanaian-English, and French.

Kris has three younger female siblings; the four have the same father, Austine Amankwaah. 

Kris attended an English-language immersion elementary school in Kumasi, Full Gospel Baptist Int. School. He graduated from high school in Kumasi Academy, in 2016 with excellent grades. Kris continued to Ryazan State University in Russia and later moved to the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Growing up, he learned to play the piano, drums, guitar, and flutes. Kris with an English background also learned how to speak and write freely in Russia Language following his stay in Russia.
